LISBON - The Sierra Club will host a non-partisan debate and forum Saturday September 6 at 4 p.m. to discuss the merits of the proposed Baard Energy liquid coal facility at the Columbiana County 'Joint' Vocational School.
The three panelists will include KSU professors Roxanne Burns and Matt Stewart, also a former area journalist, and Shannon Fisk, of the Natural Resources Defense Council. A detailed economic analysis of the facility will be released.
