SALEM – KSU student enrollment is growing in both Salem and East Liverpool according to Anthony Underwood, director of enrollment and student services.
Usually the pattern of student enrollment is to decline in the spring semester from the fall numbers, but both campuses have experienced growth since fall of 2007.
“Not only has there been a growth over this semester, but comparing a certain term with an analogous term in a previous year, we find that we have grown over the year too,” Underwood explained.
Dr. Kristen Figg, assistant dean at the Salem campus noted that more classes are becoming full and the university is running out of large rooms to hold them in. “The numbers we’re getting look very good,” she said.
Exact figures will be available sometime after Jan.18, which is the last day of 100 percent refund for dropped courses, according to Underwood.
