There were 2,196 students who registered for courses for the Fall term, compared with 2,068 students for Fall 2006.
This continues a trend of rising enrollment for the two campuses, with the largest increase coming from incoming freshmen students. With the high cost of going away to college, many students see the benefits of receiving a University education close to home.
“We are excited about this progress and believe that the increased enrollment will allow our campuses to expand our course offerings and degree programs to better meet the needs of today’s busy students,” said Anthony Underwood, director of enrollment management and student services.
