OVRAC Community Art Show Opening

EAST LIVERPOOL -- The Ohio Valley Regional Arts Council (OVRAC) sponsored an opening wherin 36 entries by various KSU art students and community members were on display.

The judged show featured pieces of various media and styles. First place went to Courtney Cottrill for her Sharpie and whiteout drawing, "Perfect"; "Mr. Goldenshower's Daughters" by Jason Gearin earned second; and Kam Hayes' "Picasso Fetii Period" placed third. All paintings are shown below in the order of their placing. Also shown below is one wall of the display in the Mary Patterson Gallery. Matt Stewart, OVRAC Chair is on the far right.

Several of the paintings are offered for sale and will remain on display in the second floor of the Mary Patterson Building.

During the party, a small group decided to meet at 10 a.m. Mar. 30 in front of the Mary Pat for a fieldtrip to the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh. If anyone else wants to join, call Mike at 330-718-5792.
