Dr. Conrad "Dan" Volz spoke Wednesday evening at the East Liverpool Campus on the topic ecological and human health risks from coal combustion products, particularly fly ash. The KSU-EL Environmental Club sponsored the event. Dr. Volz is an assistant professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health; he is also the director of the Center for Healthy Environments and Communities and the Environmental Health Risk Assessment Certificate Program.
