The Art of Autism

by Allison Brookes
The Mary Patterson art gallery hosted a traveling exhibition through Prism Outreach since March 5-17. Prism Outreach allows artists with autism to show schools, libraries, and other institutions their work as an educational learning experience.

These temporary exhibits provide space for the artwork of autistic children and adults, which leads to their emotional and intellectual growth. Prism will continue showcasing this traveling art exhibit for the remainder of the year in various cities. (Photos by Allison Brookes)
