Dr. Qunxing Ding came to the U.S. after earning his doctorate at China Agricultural University in Henan Province, China. In 1997 he joined a University of Kentucky research team to study neurological disorders such as Huntington’s chorea and Parkinson’s disease. Ding joins the staff as a tenure-track assistant professor of biology. This fall he is teaching Biological Structure and Function; in the spring he will teach Microbiology. Photo by Sable Foster.
